Islamic hate fest at a Gaza Elementary School fest- 1 killed, 6 wounded

What initially started as a protest, by Palestinian extremists at a children's festival, turned into a bomb fest, after their demands were, obviously, not met. Muslim men, all decked out in long robes and beards, protesting a sports event hosted by a U.N. elementary school in Rafah (a southern Gaza refugee camp), had warned officials to cancel the festival, which they considered "Un-Islamic", because (Allah forbid!) the festivities included (gasp) boys and girls.

I guess they figured it was fair game, considering they had issued the warning on Saturday, the day before the festival, also blaming the U.N. for turning "schools into nightclubs". Huh? Is soccer some kind of new dance I'm not familiar with? They also accused top U.N. honcho in Gaza, John Ging, of heading a movement to weaken the Muslim's faith by "turning people away from Islam." So, John Ging (director of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East) is supposedly involved in some sinister plot to destroy Islam. Yeah, right!

Although there is no common consensus (in the various media reports) on how the violence escalated from a protest to 1 dead and 6 wounded (including children, a teacher and parents), what is known is that at least one bomb was thrown into the school, after attempts by the protesters to enter the school were thwarted, and a raging gun battle ensued. Another bomb was hurled at a U.N. vehicle, and at some point when Senior Fatah official, Majed Abu Shamaleh was leaving the festival, his bodyguard was gunned down and killed in plain view of the frightened children.

This just proves, once again, how morally decrepit Muslim extremists are, when they target innocent children, and of their own faith, to boot. They care not who or what they destroy, as long as they continue on their twisted path to Islamic supremacy. The intolerance and hatred of Islamic fundamentalism truly knows no bounds.

How long can any people live under such oppression without revolting?

Even if its not against the government, they could do something about it.

I agree it has no value.. theirs or others.

Problem is violence has become a way of life for the Palestinians. Not sure they could live in peace, even if they did want it.
